The verse

When the tide comes in, the boat rises: go with it;
when it goes out, mend your nets.

TimingRhythm

What it means

Everything has a rhythm that suits it. Today, watch what is happening around you: push forward when conditions are good, and prepare when the time is not yet right, without forcing against the current.

Something to do today

• Look at one task and decide whether now is the time to push or to prepare.
